Computer Animation
The Associate of Science degree in Computer Animation will provide students with both the conceptual and technical skills needed to enter the field of computer animation, utilizing Silicon Graphics workstations and SoftImage or Alias/Wavefront software. Strong foundations in storyboarding, drawing, characterization, modeling, and animation are coupled with training in digital video and audio, as well as professional post-production techniques.
Additional coursework in interactive media and game design provide further application of animation skills, and a foundation of general education course work to round out the student's knowledge base. As students work toward program completion, they produce projects for competition and a portfolio that prepares them to start their careers.
