Medical Massage Science
A graduate of this associate degree program will become a multi-skilled individual whose talents range from working directly in medical patient care to working as a professional massage therapist in private practice or in the office of a medical facility. The versatility of this career will also allow the graduate to be adept in the business portion of the health care field with her/his knowledge of medical records, collections, insurance coding, medical correspondence, appointment scheduling and bookkeeping.
A graduate of this program is able to work in an entry level position in a medical office, clinic, hospital, pharmaceutical company, medical lab, insurance company, massage clinic, hospital, chiropractic office, nursing home, health club, spa, resort or private practice.
