Bachelor's Degree - Information Technology - Brown College

Curriculum in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program provides students with both a theoretical and application framework in the areas of: information systems theory, design and management; hardware and software; networks and telecommunications; database management; security design and maintenance; and the Internet and current issues in technology. The curriculum also provides students with grounding in business management theory and practice, in the primary areas of financial, marketing, organizational and human resource management.

Information Technology - Bachelor's Degree - Brown College

Brown College will expose students to the planning, analytical and diagnostic skills needed to make a significant contribution to their employer's information strategy and more immediate Information Systems goals. A significant amount of time will be spent mastering the basics of each programming language as well as learning the design, structure and testing concepts common to programming languages. At the minimum, a Brown graduate will gain an awareness of information systems problem solving methodology and experience at applying each of several languages.
