Visual Communications Associate Degree with specialization in Animation, Multimedia or Graphic Desig
Students develop traditional and computer skills utilizing equipment and software currently used in the field. The general education component enhances these technical skills by adding broad-based problem solving and human relations insights from other academic disciplines.
Students who successfully complete the 18-month program will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Visual Communications. During the course of their program, students will have the opportunity, based upon demonstrated qualifications, to choose a specialization in Animation, Multimedia, or Graphic Design.
Graduates of the Visual Communications Associate Degree Program typically find employment in advertising agencies, design studios, and corporate art departments. Graduates will also find opportunities with book publishing houses, printing companies, record companies, and television stations. A number of graduates find rewarding careers working freelance.
