Television Production
Producing television is complex, with each program requiring numerous production specialists. The highly competitive industry of broadcast TV, industrial video, cable, and satellite requires an endless supply of TV professionals. A determined professional capable of handling multiple responsibilities will find an exciting career path.
The Television Production Program at Brown College covers all the positions behind the camera. Students experience substantial hands-on training in our multi-camera studio and on location, where they encounter the challenges of shooting in an uncontrolled environment.
Students who successfully complete the 15-month program will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Television Production. Students are prepared for entry-level broadcast positions, which typically include master control operator, camera operator, and floor director.
