The Bachelor of Science in Business Management provides students with technical and managerial knowledge and skill levels necessary to perform at a professional management level in various segments of the business economy. The curriculum provides students with grounding in business management theory and practice, in the primary areas of marketing, finance, operations and human resources. Brown College will expose students to the planning, analytical and diagnostic skills needed to make a significant contribution to their employer's information strategy and more immediate Information Systems goals. A significant amount of time will be spent mastering the basics of each programming language as well as learning the design, structure and testing concepts common to programming languages. At the minimum, a Brown graduate will gain an awareness of information systems problem solving methodology and experience at applying each of several languages.
