Bachelor's Degree - Criminal Justice - Brown College

The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice provides students with technical and operational knowledge and skill levels necessary to perform at a professional level in various segments of the fascinating and growing field of criminal justice. The field of criminal justice incorporates law enforcement, corrections, probation and the courts. The curriculum provides students with grounding in Criminal Justice theory and practice, in criminal justice roles, functions, systems and operations. The program also explores criminal justice from a sociological and psychological perspective. The program is rounded out with Communication and General Education curriculum designed to provide Criminal Justice professionals with the life skills necessary to be successful in their chosen field.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program may hold positions that include the following: law enforcement officials, probation officers, corrections officers, social workers, private security positions and other support positions within the field of criminal justice.

Criminal Justice - Bachelor's Degree - Brown College

Brown College will expose students to the planning, analytical and diagnostic skills needed to make a significant contribution to their employer's information strategy and more immediate Information Systems goals. A significant amount of time will be spent mastering the basics of each programming language as well as learning the design, structure and testing concepts common to programming languages. At the minimum, a Brown graduate will gain an awareness of information systems problem solving methodology and experience at applying each of several languages.
