The educational objective of the Bachelor of Science Degree in Network Technology program is to provide training in computer and local area network design setup, configuration, upgrade, diagnosis and repair as well as training in wireless technologies, SQL Server and configuration and security on the enterprise. The program objectives provide the graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to obtain a position as a Computer Support Specialist, Information Systems Manager, Local Area Network Engineer, or Systems Administrator at a higher level than graduates from the Associate of Science Degree in Personal Computer/Network Technology.

Collins College offers its students comprehensive facilities, including a library with a reference section, periodical collection, fiction and non-fiction collections, videos, CD-ROM products and equipment. The school learning center provides students with peer tutoring assistance. Tutoring is available to students who may need supplemental instruction on any subject in the curriculum, and a mentor program. Members of the faculty serve as mentors because of their professional expertise as well as their diverse backgrounds.
