The Health Claims Examiner is trained to analyze medical records by assigning diagnosis and procedure codes to provide information for health claims reimbursement. This program will help prepare the student to sit for a national coding certification. Employment opportunities include multi-physician practices, insurance companies, consulting firms, medical billing companies and medical management firms.
