Computer Visualization Technology
Objectives
The bachelor degree program in Computer Visualization Technology is designed to help graduates develop the knowledge needed to begin to prepare for careers in a variety of computer graphics and related fields. The curriculum provides a combination of theory and practical application in various subjects involving computer graphics and drafting technology. This program can help graduates develop the software knowledge to visualize and translate concepts into drafted drawings and electronic images and begin to prepare for careers in entry-level positions in a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, printing, broadcast, game development, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), communications and electronic imaging industries. The goal of the program is to provide industry with graduates who possess a diverse education in computer graphics and drafting. Aspects of design, human relations, job costing and job tracking are included in the curriculum.
