Health Care and Rehab Technician
The program includes unit clerk, rehabilitation, Physical Therapy Technician, EKG, Phlebotomy classes and the course work required for Certified Nursing Assistant and *Home Health Aide exams monitored by the State of California. Graduates may take the Certified Nursing Assistant Examination administered by the Department of Health Services, State of California to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

This program provides training in the skills required to become a nurse assistant or a rehab technician. Coursework includes training in medical terminology, phlebotomy, vital signs, and charting. Students learn the principles of home health care for different types of patients and illnesses. They are exposed to the principles of rehabilitative therapy, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise.
