The demand for Interior Designers will continue well into the future as more focus is placed on ergonomics, high-tech construction materials, and continually changing national and local building codes. An Interior Designer can work in a wide range of positions focusing on either residential or commercial interiors, sales, merchandising or specialized design for very specific facilities. Those working in the field will not only require creativity and good visualization skills, but also specialized training in design, materials and market specific building codes to be competitive and successful.
