Health Claims Examiner/Medical Biller
The Health Claims Examiner/Medical Biller Program provides students with classroom instruction and practical experience in a medical or insurance facility. The program provides knowledge and skills needed to accurately report, transmit and track claims. These skills are in demand for careers in the fast growing and rewarding health claims field. Graduates may work as a Health Claims Examiner, Medical Biller, Claims Clerk, Patient and Hospital Biller, Hospital Admitting Representative or Medical Secretary. Graduates of the Health Claims Examiner/Medical Biller Program may be employed in hospitals, health clinics, doctor's offices, insurance companies, or specialized medical billing agencies.
